3 nights in January ONLY £150. One week REDUCED to £200 from £250 for January only. Thinking of going away after New Year? After all that 'festive cheer'? Then a few nights at my cosy cottage in Ludlow ought to fit the bill.
As seen on the first in Nicholas Crane's series TOWN, Ludlow is a beautiful market town in Shropshire. Number 19 Upper Linney was refurbished at the beginning of 2010 and is a Grade II listed end of terrace one bedroom town house, 4 star rated, available for self-catering holidays. It is very close to the town centre yet situated in small quiet, street just behind the famous Butter Cross. The Castle, Church, Broad Gate, Feathers Hotel and other popular attractions are very nearby.
A homemade cake or biscuits will be available on arrival, in addition to the other goodies provided as part of the holiday package, to help you settle in for your stay. Ludlow is well renowned for its festivals, Shakespeare (June/July), Food (May/September), Mediaeval (November), and Fringe events. 19 Upper Linney provides a great location to base yourselves, to explore South Shropshire, North Herefordshire and Worcestershire, the home of Elgar, the composer. Number 19 is suitable for walkers, being close to Mortimer Forest; the Long Mynd at Church Stretton is half an hour away, as too is Hergest Ridge, Kington. The Malverns are an hour away by car.
All are welcome. Only those who are least mobile and possibly very young children would perhaps not be able to stay here. Please refer to Access Statement and Mission Statement for more information. (Just a note. Somewhere, a website says that I take dogs. Sorry, but that is wrong, I don't.)Thank you for looking at my website, I hope you find here what you are looking for. Rosemary Thomas.
