Location and Parking

The house is actually just behind the car park, sat nav will take you into the car park!  Try and aim to get to the rear of the castle, that is, go through the Square, down to Dinham Bridge, turn right into The Linney and Upper Linney is just further along.  The house is the first of a row of terraced houses on the right.

Parking in Ludlow

19 Upper Linney does not have its own designated parking place for holidaying visitors. However parking is available very nearby, just a few yards away on The Linney (roadside) at a rate of £1.10 per day, (8am - 6pm) and I and previous guests have never failed to park there yet.  If you pay after 6pm the ticket is valid for the whole of the following day, so one can ensure a lie in without having to get up before 8 am to buy another ticket!

Further parking is available in Castle Square car park, five minutes walk back to the house.

If you wish to visit Ludlow by train and be car free, the station is approx 10 minutes walk away.  The owner is willing to meet guests at the station if desired.   The house is ideally situated to visit all Ludlow's major attractions and restaurants being only a few minutes from the town centre, castle, river, forest.
