We have been to Ludlow many times but have only stayed in B&B.  Staying in your cottage make this stay special because it was like home from home and we could really relax.  The cottage is fantastic, a hidden gem, and so close to town yet far enough away to chill.  The welcome pack was lovely, the cakes were delicious and we would have loved to have stayed longer!  We will definitely return!

We came for the weekend of English Song plus a couple of days, – all wonderful but made more so by such a warm welcome in this darling cottage. Such a well set up cottage. I have never stayed in one where there are enough dumping spaces in the bathroom, hooks on the backs of doors, and even a tea cosy!  Thank you Rosemary for all the thought that makes this a gem of a cottage.  The vases of flowers are delightful.

28 July – 4 August, Linda and Huw, North London

Dear Rosemary, cakes, bread, eggs, raspberries and even the joy of David Austin roses in the garden.  What lovely treats awaited our arrival.  The cottage was just perfect with such thoughtful touches.  Probably the cleanest and best we have stayed in as a holdiay cottage with a high standard of decoration and ‘useable’ kitchen crockery and equipment.  So well placed for Ludlow and surrounding area.  Special find – Stockton Bury Gardens, Kimbolton near Leominster.

20 – 27 July, Barbara and Taco, The Netherlands

7 – 11 May 2013, Dot and John, Wirrall

A lovely stay in Ludlow made nicer by our stay at No. 19.  Thank you Rosemary for the thoughtful goodies left for us.  Cottage is cosy and welcoming. Our first stay in Ludlow but hopefully not our last.

26 April – 3 May, James and Wanda, North Berwick

Our first visit to these parts – and greatly impressed. No 19 offers superbly equipped and comfortable accommodation along with the ideal location – central yet quiet – from which to explore Ludlow.  One “must see” attraction ( one of many in Ludlow!) has to be Stokesay Castle, Craven Arms – remarkable!

21 – 26 April, Mandy and David, Herne Bay, Kent

This was our second visit to this fabulous little cottage.  It was just as lovely as we remembered it.  The little touches of cakes, eggs, milk, etc are so thoughtful.  Sad to be going home so soon but we are certain that we shall be coming back again, as soon as we can, thank you Rosemary.

19 – 21 April, Mike, Kelly and Flynn, Widnes

What an absolutely perfect place to stay.  The cottage is beautiful and has everything you could ever need.  Added to the fact that Rosemary has been the friendliest and nicest person to speak with and you have the perfect holiday. (and cakes :))

Ludlow itself is lovely and we had a great time exploring. Shropshire is such a fantastic county which must be one of England’s best kept secrets!

12 – 16th April, Jenny and Deborah, Kings Heath, Birmingham

Our third stay at 19 Upper Linney and just as lovely as ever.  Rosemary – don’t change anything – it’s perfect!  The cottage is cosy and comfortable to return to after our (soggy) walks.  The best place to stay in Ludlow and we will be back.

1 – 6 April 2013, Susan and Rob Keene, The Netherlands,

We have had a wonderful stay, exploring a part of England new to us.  The walks were magnificient.  The cottage has been so cosy and comfortable.  We really appreciate the attention to detail and the welcoming goodies!  Thank you again Rosemary – a perfect week.

25 – 28 March 2013, Matt and Kitty, Teddington, London

Thank you so much for a perfect break! (and the delicious cupcakes!)  We’ve had some beautiful walks in the snow with the luxury of this cosy cottage to return to at the end of the day.  We will be back!

22 – 25 March 2013, Donna and Alan, Liverpool

Our second visit to Ludlow and the first one in this lovely cottage – didn’t do much walking due to the weather but enjoyed the local pubs!

11 – 14 March 2013, Sue and Neil, Tamworth

Arrived at the end of the coldest snap this year but we were snug and warm in your beautiful cottage.  Sitting up in bed looking out over the countryside was just bliss.  Thank you for your attention to every detail.  We hope to return to warmer weather so that we can enjoy the garden, not just from the kitchen window!!

2 – 5 March 2013, Bob and Margaret, Chertsey, Surrey

Very enjoyable stay in the cottage.  Thank you for the Welcome Pack.

15th – 18th February 2013, Andi and Steve, Cornwall

Our second visit to our ‘home from home’. As welcoming as the first time. We love Ludlow!  Really don’t want to leave, but reality beckons. We will return!

23 Feb – 2 March 2013, Kari and Kyrre Edvardson, Bodo, Norway

Now thinking back of our week in no. 19, we had a wonderful time, the house is so lovely, it has a wonderful atmosphere and we were made to feel very welcome. We have stayed in some cottages over the years and they have been nice and pretty and beautiful, lots of positive things to say. But what makes no. 19 something more than this is the way we felt welcomed. Usually there are 2 bags if tea, two spoonfuls of coffee, one roll of toilet paper, no soap and empty cupboards except maybe some salt and pepper. So the big and small finishing touches you do, make a lot of difference to us as guests, in my opinion.

So thank you Rosemary, for our stay in no. 19 Upper Linney. And it was very nice talking to you and Roger when we met, we really appreciated that.

(17)18 – 21 January 2013, Sam and Steve, Liverpool

A very snowy visit to Ludlow!  thank you Rosemary for your hospitality and for making sure our weekend away happened!  Your cottage was fabulous – loved the decor, home from home comforts and of course the treats.

28 December – 1 January 2013, Josephine, Australia

… No 19 is a great location for a very restful break, with a wealth of local information and creature comforts.  Thank you for your many kindnesses Rosemary, Happy New Year!
